ENA - GERMAN EXAMS

ENA-B2 TEST DESCRIPTION

The ENA-B2 certificate declares the advanced language level of the fourth level (B2) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The exam tests productive skills such as writing and speaking, as well as receptive skills - reading and listening.

ENA-GERMAN EXAMS

ENA - CERTIFICATE B2 - TARGET GROUP

ENA German examinations are general language examinations and can therefore be used in a wide range of contexts. The B2 ENA German test was developed for test takers who have reached the age of 16 in the year of the test and are learning German as a foreign language as well as a second language. We maintain neutrality in the development of our tests with regard to age, culture, origin and gender. The ENA B2 exam is aimed at learners of German who are preparing to study in Germany or who need to prove advanced German language skills at B2 level when applying for a job (e.g. in the field of medicine) and require an official certificate.

ENA GERMAN B2 - COMPLEX KNOWLEDGE

WHAT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO

You can understand the main content of complex texts on concrete and abstract topics, as well as specialised discussions in your own area of specialisation. You can communicate so spontaneously and fluently that a normal conversation with native speakers is easily possible without much effort on either side. You can also express yourself clearly and in detail on a wide range of topics, explain a point of view on a topical issue and present the advantages and disadvantages of various options. The use of German goes beyond the private sector and focuses more on the public, semi-public and professional sectors.

You can understand standard language spoken in direct contact and in the media when it comes to familiar or less familiar topics that you would normally encounter in your private, social or professional life or in education. Only extreme background noise, inappropriate discourse structures or strong idiomatic language impair understanding. They can understand the main points of speeches with complex content and language on concrete and abstract topics when standard language is used. You can also understand specialist discussions in your own area of specialisation. They can also follow longer speeches and complex arguments if the topic is reasonably familiar and the course of the speech or conversation is characterised by explicit signals.

You can read very independently, adapt your reading style and pace to different texts and purposes and use suitable reference works selectively. You have a large reading vocabulary, but may have difficulties with less frequently used expressions.

You can write clear, detailed texts on various topics in your field of interest, bringing together and weighing up information and arguments from several sources.

You can describe and present facts clearly and systematically, emphasising important points and relevant supporting details appropriately. You can also give clear and detailed descriptions and accounts of a wide range of topics in your field of interest, elaborating on ideas and supporting them with subordinate points and relevant examples.
